The association was founded in 1965 to give more recognition and recognition to the discipline of project management and professionalism of project managers in as many branches in the Netherlands as possible. The IPMA certification has existed since 1994 and tests participants on their project management skills. The IPMA certification has now been recognized in more than 40 countries. About IPMA certification The certification has been developed from the idea that projects can be structured and managed in a structured way. Various competencies have been prepared for this purpose. These competencies are laid down in the International Competence Baseline Version 4 (ICB4).
