The trainer was very informative. He definitely set a new standard for other trainers to maintain, as his way of presenting the training and interacting with the participants was great and meaningful. He was the first ever trainer to keep all the participant's attention and actually made the training fun. More trainers like him can be used in future. He was great! He was able to keep our concentration throughout the course by always engaging us in the training.

About PMI®

The Project Management Institute (PMI®) is the oldest community for project managers. The PMI® certification is the oldest and most popular project management certification. Since 1987, PMI® has laid down general best practices in project management in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).
The PMBOK® Guide serves as the basis for PMI® certification. The Guide is designed to describe and standardize generally recognized project management processes and practices. The PMBOK® Guide describes what project management involves and what knowledge and processes a project manager must master. Experience shows that many companies use PMI®'s thinking to create an unambiguous way of working, developing the technical skills of the project manager.

The areas of knowledge in the PMBOK® Guide

The PMBOK® Guide is clustered in 10 knowledge areas describing the 47 processes used by most project managers. These knowledge areas are:

  1. Integration Management
  2. Scope Management
  3. Time Management
  4. Cost Management
  5. Quality Management
  1. Risk Management
  2. Human Resource Management
  3. Communication Management
  4. Communication Management
  5. Stakeholder Management

The trainer – Ronald Verheijden – is positive and makes use of all possible methods to present.
